Jain Vishva Bharati University started correspondence courses from the academic session 1993.

  • Exemption in the fee to Sadhus/Monks and Sadhvis/Nuns of any religious order. They are also provided examination facilities in the nearest Govt. recognised school in their chaturmas period.

Methodology, Sessional Work and Contact Classes
  • Admissions according to eligibility.
  • Study material provided.
  • Maximum five number of units per paper.
  • Exercise questions are available in each unit.
  • Two sessional assignments to be submitted (excluding M.A./M.Sc. (SOL, PM & Yoga)
  • Each sessional paper covers 30% at B.A. level & at 20% M.A. level and covers 15 marks at M.A./M.Sc. (SOL, PM & Yoga)
  • Sessional works marks are included in annual marks list.
  • 10 days contact classes for B.A. and M.A. student, at different centres of the country.
  • B.A. students (who have opted for SOL) to appear in practical examination just after the 10 days contact classes
  • 15 days compulsory contact classes will be organized at Ladnun centre for B.Lib. and I.Sc. students.
  • One month training & contact classes for M.A./M.Sc. (SOL, PM & Yoga).
  • Students who do not attend the one one month contact classes will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
