Are the Programmes recognized by the UGC?
All the Programmes offered by JVBI have been recognized by the UGC (DEB).
What is the date of applying for various Distance Mode Programmes?
Admissions to various UG & PG Distance Mode programmes usually take place in the months of July and August.
From where can I get application form for admission to UG and PG Programmes?
Hard copies of the CDOE Admission Form can be obtained from the Institute’s Office on all working days, and the same can be downloaded from the Admission section of the Institute’s website.
Is there any provision for Assignment in the Programme run by the Institute?
Yes, there is a provision of submitting assignments in all courses under each programme. The Learners can solve the Questions given in the Question Banks on the university website and submit the assignment by the pre-decided date in the Institute. If someone fails to submit the assignment, the result is withheld. The withheld result is declared only on receipt of the assignment before or on the due date. Thirty (30%) percent marks are allotted for assignment.
Are the Self Learning Material (SLM) for each course available on the website of the Institute?
Yes, Self Learning Material for each course of a particular Programme is also available on the university Website for convenience of the learner and easy access.

When is the Annual Examination of Distance Mode Programme held?
Examinations are held during April and May each year.
When are the Practical Classes of M.A. & B.A. Yoga and Science of Living conducted?
JVBI conducts Practical Classes for both M.A. Yoga and Science of Living and B.A. Science of Living. The duration of practical classes is 15 days for M.A. and 10 days for B.A. These are conducted during January to April at difference places of Rajasthan.
What is the process of declaring results and providing mark-sheets?
The Examination results of all courses are declared during July-August each year. The results are also made available on the website of the institute and the mark-sheets are sent by registered post at the address provided by the student.
Is there any facilities/provision for re-evaluation?
There is a provision of re-evaluation, application for which have to be submitted within one month of the declaration of results. The students have to fill-up the form and deposit the prescribed fee. The application form for re-evaluation can be obtained from the Institute or downloaded from the Institute’s website.
What is the process of getting the degree on successful completion of the programme?
Every year the Institute holds Convocation in the auspicious presence of the Anushasta of JVBI where degrees are distributed. All passing-out candidates are invited to the Convocation. Those who cannot attend the Convocation, their degrees are sent by registered post at the address provided by the student. Such candidates are expected to fill-up a form and obtain the degrees by registered post.
What is the process of obtaining Migration Certificate from the Institute?
Migration Certificate can be obtained through registered post on filling a form, which is available on the Institute’s website, and the appropriate fee.
Is there any Counseling Center in the Institute to address queries of learners?
There is a student’s Help Desk & Learner Support Centre in the Institute for providing information regarding all Programmes offered by CDOE. The Help Desk works for providing information to candidates / learners regarding admission and helping them on all matters related to admission up to examination.
